Radiology (X-rays)

Radiology

Radiology is a very important tool in the aid of diagnosing a multitude of problems.  The pictures taken are a way of showing the owners the problem and can also be shared with other veterinarians and referral clinics for rapid diagnosis and second opinions.

X-Rays are necessary for a variety of reasons; one of the more common reasons is to locate foreign objects that the animal may have eaten.

Sometimes two, three or more X-rays are needed to get different views of the animal and problem area.
