The most used diagnostic service at Highview and Meadows clinics as well as most other clinics is laboratory testing.
We have our own ‘in house’ laboratories as well as technicians that are capable of running almost all blood and chemistry tests required. The equipment is sophisticated and laboratory results can be available within thirty minutes of sample taking.
We do our own culture and sensitivities on samples to determine appropriate antibiotic use. The equipment provides information and aid in the diagnosis of your pet’s ailments and allows rapid onset of treatment protocols.
Occasionally we have to send some of our samples out of town for special tests but can often get these results back within 24 hours.
