Highview is located on the north side of Thunder Bay. Our clinic currently employs 5 veterinarians and 22 full-time and part-time staff members who fulfill a variety of positions including receptionists, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and animal care attendants.
The clinic veterinarians regularly attend continuing education seminars to keep up to date with new developments in veterinary medicine. With a variety of practice styles and experience, our veterinarians frequently discuss specific cases to determine the best course of action. This is especially beneficial for difficult cases.
Highview, as well, offers continuing education help to all members of their staff! Currently, there is multiple staff in the school with the assistance of Highview to become Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians.
Highview Animal Clinic is accredited by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO). As the provincial veterinary licensing body, this organization conducts regular on-site inspections of all clinics. This process ensures that each clinic meets specific regulations regarding standards of care, equipment, record keeping, library resources, pharmacy controls, and sanitation. It is designed to protect you and your animals.
